hello disco aunties,
we welcome you to our blog of same sex, forbidden, prohibited, perverted, sinful love.
we are aware of your feelings towards us. you gossiping little bitches. bored, ignored, totally useless and in the closet. thriving on the misery of the entire city over your tea and cookies. we are your friends' daughters and your daughter's friends
and we are gay.
this is a blog about our adventures of queerness. the pressure and excitement..
we have decided that you are our official enemy and we will bash you whenever we please (because you suck). but since you are our friends' mothers and mother's friends we have decided to help you, and to help those like us, by writing this blog about our lives (the gay part).
hello fellow mangoes,
this is a breakthrough. a revolution. a platform. we are speaking to you. be anonymous, have nicknames (we don't want to know who you are), email us with your problems and share your stories.
we're going to tell you how we go about being queer mangoes, how we succeed and fail at getting the straight, the curious, the convertible, the taken, the uninterested, the friend and all the others who are way out of our league.
so have a good day and stay tuned. please email us, it helps us write. we need inspiration and support at this point.
cheers
- doggie and birdie

this is bloody fucking awesome.. haha a big fuck you to the aunties from all of us stateside
I would just like to say that I've only just been introduced to this blog, and I think it is revolutionary, incredible, amazing, and i'm crazy obsessed with it! As someone who has always worked with gender and sexuality, and who might be called straight and yet has fought every feminist and sexuality battle there is with her parents and alllll the bloody aunties in the entire greater Bengali-American community, I would just like to take a moment to applaud this blog and the courage of the women who write it. Brava! And if possible, I would LOVE to talk to you ladies about my MA thesis which is obviously centered on Desi Queerness and roles of performance and performativity... email me ANY time at 231294@soas.ac.uk... I would absolutely love to hear from you!! ~P
